He Has Risen

A Cthulhu illustration I recently painted. The challenge for this piece was that it needed a very high resolution for large scale printing. The final image's dimensions are 15000x9900px. At this resolution, painting a lot by hand simply becomes unfeasible and a lot is accomplished in 3D. Scultped in 3DCoat, Textures in Substance Painter, rendered in Octane, then post in PS.
